This is a poem about how I almost wish things could go back to how it was, but at the same time like how it changed

It’s a new school year

And a lot has changed

Some people left

Some people stayed

Some people changed

Some people didn’t

I miss my old best friend

But she traded me in for

Someone new

She came back last week

I thought we’d be friends again

But it’s not the same

Its okay though

Because now I have my new best friends

And I don’t care what she does

But it’s not me and her anymore

It’s just me

And my real friends

Because some things

Can’t go back to how they were
